Hi,

My name is Tom and I’m the proud owner of what has been called ‘The Most Famous Bus In The World’ – Paul McCartney’s 1972 Wings Tour Bus

Its 3 year Mission Ticket To Ride Restoration completed it was successfully unveiled in front of 90,000 people over 3 days at The Classic Motor Show at The NEC the weekend of 11th, 12th and 13th November 2022.

It was then featured on ITV News, BBC News, The Birmingham Mail, Classic Car Weekly, Coach & Bus Week (5 page spread), Bus & Coach Preservation (6 page spread) and many more publications. The Daily Telegraph visited us as did The Daily Mail.

Out of 3,000 exhibits it was 1972 Wings Tour Bus that was chosen to go on the Classic Motor Show event flyer that went out to 250,000 classic car enthusiasts. We were on the FBHVC – Federation of British Historic Vehicles stand at the entrance to Hall 5. The FBHVC has 250,000 members with millions worldwide through affiliates and they have followed the story of our restoration since December 2020.

LIVE BANDS
Live bands played on The McCartney Stage for the three days. On Sunday 13th November Wings legend Howie Casey played and the reaction was brilliant. Howie signed our Guest Book and wrote us a great compliment, “I’m AMAZED”.

Many exciting events are being planned for 2023 and Chris Evans has provisionally booked the bus for Car Fest 2023.
