The Post-Restoration Launch Event
The newly restored bus was unveiled in front of 90,000 people at The Classic Motor Show at The NEC, UK in November 2022 and bands played on the top deck McCartney Stage, see below. After this stunning success we are ready to rock and looking forward to making it a Happy New Year 2023.

The Restoration
Our 3 year restoration of this 1953 Bristol open top double-decker superstar completed in 2022 has empowered this iconic and historic music and motoring Legend Of Rock & Road to Get Back its Ticket To Ride.
The McCartney Stage
The open-top deck has been re-imagined and engineered to create a performance space. Inspired by The Beatles Rooftop Concert & named in honour of its very own superstar the live music proved the hit of the show.

The Artwork
Geoff Cleghorn, renowned artist friend of Pink Floyd, The Who, The Rolling Stones et al was commissioned by Paul McCartney in 1972 to create a Woodstock, Magical Mystery Tour Yellow Submarine inspired artwork for the bus. For the restoration its stunning time-capsule 1970’s retro artwork has been re-imagined for 2022 and because it epitomises the era it also makes the perfect fashion photoshoot backdrop.
